Do You Know Christ?

We were created by God - not by some random chance or evolution, so that we could experience Him and have relationship with Him forever.

When sin (missing God’s perfect standard) entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, we were separated from the friendship and relationship with God that we were created to have.

The fact is, we’re all just human and we often miss the mark of the great life that God has planned for us everyday. That’s what we call sin - the wrong things in our life.

Big or small, we’re all in the same boat, imperfect and separated from God because of it Our wrong doings always have consequences in life and there is no way around needing to pay the price for our actions.

To get our relationship back with God we have to pay the price for our wrong doings.

No matter what we do or how hard we try, we can never remedy our bad actions because we can never be perfect enough to fix them the way God requires us to.

The most amazing thing about this whole situation is that God desires to have a relationship with us so much that He is willing to give everything He has. He gave his son Jesus as a sacrifice for our wrong doings, to take the punishment of death that we deserved so that we didn’t have to live separated from God forever. How amazing is that?

This is what Christianity is all about - God giving His Son to take our punishment.

All that we need to do for us to have a relationship with God is to accept that we are sinful, believe that Jesus died on the cross for us and choose to follow His direction over our own.

You can pray this simple prayer now if you're ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour:

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for loving me and for accepting me even when I've made mistakes. I'm sorry for the things I've done and the times I've disobeyed you. I believe you are the Son of God and died on the cross to take my sin, thank you for setting me free from the punishment of my wrong decisions. Please come into my life and lead me; I give you control.

Amen
