Our Beliefs:

  • We believe in a God who changes lives. 1

  • We believe the Bible tells us how to live, and is accurate in its description of both God, the future and the world we live in. 2

  • We believe that men and woman are separated from God and need to make a personal commitment to Jesus Christ in order to reconnect with Him. 3

  • Jesus is coming back, and will take up personal leadership of the supernatural Kingdom He has established. 4

  • The Church is God’s means of extending His Kingdom in the world, and is led by men and women of spiritual wisdom and authority who are chosen by Jesus himself. 5

  • Individual believers can be empowered by the Holy Spirit to act supernaturally on God’s behalf and minister for Him in this world. 6

Our Practice:

Gifts are the starting point of ministry – so identifying them and using them is an important part of serving God

Leaders serve – and can be judged by how well others do.

We train in teams and that means we are prepared to use the unqualified and turn them into people who can do the job.

Evangelism is not optional – one of the primary reasons we were created is to bear witness to Christ’s goodness; worship is the other.

People grow best when they relate to leaders, because ascension ministries exist to equip people to serve Christ.

Age is not a barrier to serving God – both the very young and the very old have been given gifts and so they qualify for service
